HANDCUT DOVETAIL JOINERY

You will learn how to accurately cut dovetail joints using hand tools that you probably already own. You will need to bring to the class:
One dry, straight grained knot-free board approximately
1/2″ x 12″ x 8″suitable for working with hand tools.
No. 2 pencil
6″ or longer steel rule
Mallet
Small combination square
Marking knife (sharp)
Straight blade carving knife (utility knife o.k.)
Dovetail saw, rip cut (Hacksaw w/ 14 tpi blade o.k.)
1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″ bevel edge chisels (MUST BE RAZOR
SHARP)
Marking gauge
Dovetail gauge or small sliding ‘T’ bevel
You may wish to bring a sack lunch
