He shows his work primarily in the Northwest, but his pieces reside in homes and businesses throughout the United States and abroad. He began his woodworking career designing and producing interior architectural accessories. He presented his first solo show of furniture at the Northwest Gallery of Fine Woodworking in 1989; he also received an American Crafts Award for his Gazelle Table in the same year. He is founding member of Northwest Gallery of Fine Woodworking and has been extensively involved in the development of this successful cooperative. He has held several positions on the Board of Directors of the cooperative as well as serving as President. His presentation titled ‘My Life in Woodworking’ will cover his development as a woodworker as well as lessons learned along the way.
Come and enjoy seeing what Grady has worked on in the past and his plans for future projects.
