I am writing to let you know that my father's 60-year accumulation of woodworking tools is being sold this weekend (May 16-17) in Lynnwood, Washington. In addition to making furniture, Dad was an expert in woodturning and marquetry. For sale will be floor and handheld power tools (Delta, Craftsman, Makita, and other brand sanders, drills, saws, and lathes) but also the following: calipers for woodturning; Hirsch, Shopsmith, and Henry Taylor scrapers and gouges; over 100 bar and C clamps (2.5 in to 72 in in length, Jorgensen and other brands); 14 handscrew wood clamps; band clamps for steam bending; variety of measuring tools; veneers, including maple burl and others; Hegner scroll saw with collection of blades; Incra 16-inch fence; Leigh D3 12-inch dovetail jig; CMT, Woodtek, and Jesada router bits; bisquit joiner; saw blades; drill bits; hand planes; circle and specialty cutters; hose clamps; vices; hole saws; dowel cutter set; Woodcraft wood threading kit; dust collectors and shopvacs; 120 books and videos on furniture making, carpentry, woodturning, marquetry, intarsa, and metalwork; Taunton's Fine Woodworking COMPLETE, issues 1-204; WOODSMITH magazine COMPLETE, issues 1-182.
